Q. What was the symptom / problem with the orignal part?
A.The old agitator was broken, parts of the plastic "wings" on the agitator had broken off.

Q. Did this part fix the problem, and was it easy to fit?
A.Simple to fit: remove the wing nut in the centre of the agitator, remove agitator and replace with new one, replace wing nut in the centre of agitator. No special tools required and wing nut is normally only finger tight. 02/11/2009

A.The wings of agitator had literally broken off

Q. Did this part fix the problem, and was it easy to fit?
A.Easy replace: removed the screw inside the agitator shaft by hand, pulled off broken agitator then just fitted new one. Re-screw. Done 20/07/2010

A.Agitator wings had broken off.

A.Reach down centre of agitator unscrew wingnut at bottom with your hand. Old agitator pulls straight out, slide in new one, tighten wing nut. Whole thing takes 5 minutes, no tools required. 19/09/2010

Q. What was the symptom / problem with the orignal part?
A.The fins had torn off the agitator.

Q. Did this part fix the problem, and was it easy to fit?
A.Pull off the cap from the top of the agitator (its where the fabric softener goes). undo the wing nut. Now you can pull the agitator out - just pull it up it comes out easily. Put the new agitator in place, screw on the wing nut, replace the plastic cap. 19/11/2010

Q. What was the symptom / problem with the orignal part?
A.The wings of the agitator broke off because it was getting on in age and was overloaded.

Q. Did this part fix the problem, and was it easy to fit?
A.No Special tools are required. Simply remove water softener dispenser. Put your ahnd down and unskrew the big butterfly skrew at the base. Lift off the agitator. Replace with new part and skrew the butterfly skrew back on. Very easy!!!! 14/12/2010
