Remove the silicon seal and clean all parts. Replace broken shower screen ensuring the concave centre is facing toward the metal screen. Tighten to hand tight as much as possible but not so much as to break the new shower screen.

Use the allen (hex) key provided with your machine to remove the screw at the centre of the shower screens. Take note of the way the screens are installed. The screens may need some gentle persuasion the be separated from the machine. Once removed give the area a wipe down then hold the new shower screens in place in the same orientation as the originals and screw in the screw.

| Tools Required: |
The allen (hex) key as provided with the machine. A small flat screwdriver to gently pry the screens if required.

I thought initially the spring had worn causing the filter cup to get stuck in the group head. The problem was caused by the inner shower screen being cracked. Via a later order I replaced the inner shower screen plus purchased a spare and a new silicon group head washer.

If the coffee machine is dispensing water unevenly when making coffee it may mean the inner plastic shower screen has split. If you do need to change this then always best to replace the silicone seal also. Simply use an allen key to unscrew the screen under the group head and remove the metal mesh screen (outer shower screen), the inner plastic shower screen and the silicon seal. You will need to remove the drip tray and you may need to tilt back the machine to see properly but I had no issues without doing that. Also the old silicon sealing ring may need some prizing to remove but once loose will come out easily. Then replace all parts making sure the grooves in the silicon ring are facing downwards and that the cup of the shower screen is facing upwards. Do not overtighten or it will cause the screen to split game (again?) over time. When you put the group head back in again to make coffee it should twist to the point where the handle is about 90 or even a little less is okay. If it goes past 90 it probably means you have overtightened the allen key so youll need to loosen it off again a little bit.

Challenging to get to but repair fairly straightforward once you figure out how to get the cover off, google, and front screws hidden under lcd screen panel. Dont leave o-ring on the probes during install, install o-ring in pocket of steam boiler connection or it will be tough to install probe without damaging o-ring. Found this out the hard way. Wires have slide off connectors which is important for longer probes.
|
| Tools Required: |
Phillips 20 torx screwdrivers. Something to push down ceramic probe connector but be careful as they can be damaged pretty easily.

Make sure to put a crunched-up paper towel into the feeder tube that runs from the bean holder grinder. If you drop one of the four screws that holds the solenoid down into the 25mm diameter tube youre in big trouble. Using a magnetic tipped phillips head screwdriver will make sure they dont fall into the machine. Easy ways to minimise pain, good luck

Open back and top of the machine, loosened all screws - note they seem to try and use a different screw on every possible place so dont just dump them all into a big pile. Then traced all the wires and as I removed the old wands wire plugged or soldered the new on. Insulated the solder joints with shrink tube removed the old wand and put the new one in. Zip tied all the ones I remove again and closed it up.

Dismantle the casing, unscrew the wand assembly. Replace the wand assembly and the wires. A bit fiddly but better to save 400 and wasting time.

The part fails leaving thread inside the pump which requires removal first. So an easy out type tool is useful. The whole device is packed tight so take care not to pinch wires hoses on reassembly. Experienced techs wont have much trouble so medium. But anyone trying to do this it will be v.Hard.
